Sahib Thind is the founder and president of the Professor Mohan Singh Memorial Foundation, which has advocated for recognition of the Komagata Maru tragedy and organizes the annual Mela Gadri Babiyan Da at Bear Creek Park. He is a fearless advocate for human and civil rights.

He received B.C.’s Medal of Good Citizenship in 2017. A Surrey North resident for more than 40 years, he is semi-retired and worked in the construction industry.

Sahib Thind, David Eby and the BC NDP have a plan to build BC strong: creating jobs, strengthening healthcare, and bringing down costs.
